The story behind “Nesha Akhon Notun Jibon”

Every actor has one project that changes everything. For me, it was “Nesha Akhon Notun Jibon”. I remember the first morning of the shoot — standing under the lights, heart pounding, hoping the camera would catch even a little of what I was feeling inside.

The song itself carried so much emotion. My job was simple on paper: live the character honestly enough that the audience forgets he is acting. But simple is never easy. We shot the key scene more than a dozen times before the director finally smiled and said, “That's the one.”

When the video crossed 10 million views, messages started pouring in from all over Bangladesh — and beyond. Strangers telling me that a scene made them cry, or reminded them of someone they loved. That is when I truly understood the power of this craft.
